Rangers fans gutted to hear Ryan Jack could miss the rest of the season

As reported by The Daily Record, Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack is at risk of missing the rest of the season with the player set to undergo knee surgery after picking an injury in last month’s clash with Motherwell.

The Light Blues regular was on the receiving end of a tackle from Cedric Kipre on 27th December and hasn’t featured in competitive or friendly action since. He now looks set to be out for longer than first anticipated.

Jack moved to Ibrox last summer and has so far made 21 appearances this season, becoming one of the side’s most consistent performers in the middle of the park.

With a long-term injury also sustained by Graham Dorrans, it leaves manager Graeme Murty’s options limited in the second half of the season.

Supporters are gutted to hear he won’t be available for the foreseeable future, with some also criticising the Rangers medical staff for not realising the severity of his injury sooner.
