Rangers fans hail Morelos’ match-winning display against Rapid Vienna

Rangers moved to the top of Group G in the Europa League in some style on Thursday, fighting from behind to win 3-1 against Rapid Vienna.

The Austrian side took a first-half lead through Veton Berisha but Alfredo Morelos immediately equalised at Ibrox, before striking again at the death to bring an end to a nervy finish after James Tavernier’s penalty gave the hosts the lead.

The result sees Steve Gerrard’s side bounce back from the weekend’s defeat to Livingston in a perfect fashion and the evening was made even better with the news that Celtic suffered defeat at the hands of Red Bull Salzburg.

Morelos was certainly the man of the moment for Rangers as he continued his impressive run of form in Europe, taking his Europa League tally to four goals in nine matches including qualifying.

Fans flocked to social media to praise the 22-year-old Colombian for his display and we have gathered some of the best reactions below.
