Loads of Rangers fans have been reflecting on the weekend’s action and looking ahead to Thursday’s Europa League clash, and they’re running out of superlatives for Glenn Middleton.

Steven Gerrard brought in 15 new players this summer, but it’s a player that joined under Graeme Murty that has developed the most under the new gaffer.

Murty coached the 18-year-old during his stint with Norwich, so Gers’ fans certainly have to credit their former boss for bringing the teenager to Ibrox.

Gerrard deserves plenty of praise for Middleton’s recent displays though, as the youngster is absolutely full of confidence.

He assisted the opening goal in this weekend’s 3-0 win over Livingston, meaning he now has five goals and four assists in just 583 minutes of action this season.

That means the winger is involved in a goal every 65 minutes, and fans are heaping praise on his form as they prepare for Thursday’s clash with Villarreal.
