Rangers fans loved Goldson performance vs St. Mirren

Loads of Rangers fans have been giving their verdict on the win over St. Mirren, and they’re absolutely delighted with the form of Connor Goldson.

Steven Gerrard had an awful lot of work to do when he arrived at Ibrox this summer, and his first priority was clearly to toughen up the defence.

James Tavernier kept his place, but new signings were brought in alongside him with Jon Flanagan, Nikola Katic and the towering Goldson all arriving.

While all three have made good starts to life at Rangers, Goldson may just take the cake, and fans are heaping praise on his Sunday performance.

The 25 year-old slammed home a header in the first half to make it 2-0 to the Gers, and could have even had another when he planted a header off the post.

The former Brighton fan favourite has formed an absolutely dominant partnership at the back with Katic, and both players will chip in with a fair few goals this season as well.

Gerrard has had a great start to life in charge at Ibrox, and his decision to swoop for the two towering centre backs is looking like an absolute stroke of genius.
