Rangers fans loved Sean Goss’ debut against Aberdeen

Rangers moved into second place in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday night, defeating rivals Aberdeen at Ibrox in a 2-0 scoreline.

The Light Blues knew victory would see them leapfrog the Dons in the table and the result never looked in doubt as the side returned to action after the mid-season break.

Alfredo Morelos and James Tavernier were the goal heroes, netting in each half to secure all three points on a night that Graeme Murty chose to hand a debut to a number of new signings.

Russell Martin, Jamie Murphy and Sean Goss all made their competitive debuts for the club after a busy start to the January transfer window, with Jason Cummings also coming off the bench in the second half.

Fans were delighted with the performance of Sean Goss in particular, believing he had a big influence on the match in the heart of the Rangers midfield. They’re even already talking about signing him permanently when his loan from Queens Park Rangers expires.
