Loads of Rangers fans have been having their say on the latest transfer news, as Steven Gerrard eyes a move for Nottingham Forest centre back Joe Worrall.

According to The Daily Record, Gerrard is targeting Worrall as he looks to add more depth to his defence.

The Liverpool legend’s primary focus in the transfer market has been strengthening the spine of the team, but a couple of injuries could potentially put him right back where he started.

The report claims Worrall is seen as a solution to this problem, and the Gers have enquired about taking him on loan.

Worrall is an England U21 international, and standing at 6 ft 4 in would add another aerial threat to the likes of Nikola Katic and Connor Goldson.

The young defender has made over 50 league appearances for Forest, scoring once, and had a very successful loan stint with Dagenham & Redbridge back in 2016.

Gerrard added Kyle Lafferty to his ranks this week, and another centre back to sure up the defence would be the perfect end to the transfer window.
