Daniel Candeias has officially left Ibrox and the Rangers fans are not too happy about it.

The 31-year-old winger has signed for Turkish Super Lig side Genclerbirligi in a deal worth £250,000, according to The Scottish Sun.

The Portuguese ace played 52 times for Steven Gerrard's side last season, scoring six times and providing 12 assists, including one stunning back-heel in the Europa League win over Rapid Wien.

Signed in the summer of 2017 from Benfica, Candeias brings an end to his Gers career as a firm favourite amongst many of the supporters.

In the past 24 months, the wide-man has featured nearly 100 times for the club, departing just shy of the big 100 on 97 appearances.

Gerrard has added wingers Sheyi Ojo, Jordan Jones, Greg Stewart and Jake Hastie to the squad this summer, and that added competition has surely played a part in sending the veteran winger out the exit door.

Here's what the dejected supporters had to say about the deal on Twitter...
