Loads of Rangers fans have been reacting to some tweets from Paul Gascoigne, as their former hero hit out at the Scottish FA for withdrawing his Hall of Fame nomination.

Rangers have had their fair share of legendary players, but few have quite hit the heights that Gazza did in his three seasons with the club.

The former England international scored 30 league goals in 74 appearances for the Gers, and the 1995-96 season in particular will live long in fans’ memories.

Even when his form dropped off slightly he still endeared himself to the Ibrox faithful, receiving a £20,000 fine when he mimed playing a flute at Celtic Park.

While there’s no question “Gazza” did enough on the pitch to warrant a place in the Scottish Football Hall of Fame, his recent nomination was withdrawn after board members threatened to boycott the award dinner over concerns about his behaviour.

The 51-year-old has certainly had some issues off the pitch, but fans are loving his recent tweet, as he hit back at the Scottish FA and reaffirmed his love for the Gers.
