Rangers fans react as Gerrard looks to bounce back from defeat

Loads of Rangers fans have been reacting to some comments from Steven Gerrard, and they’re absolutely loving the manager’s outlook on Sunday’s defeat.

Rangers fell to their second defeat of the Premiership season on Sunday, as Dolly Menga’s strike was enough to give Livingston all three points.

The Gers have put in some fantastic performances at Ibrox so far this season, but the displays away from home have been very concerning.

Gerrard’s side are yet to pick up three points on the road in the league, and the performance at Livingston was very poor.

Perhaps the gaffer’s biggest mistake was going with two up front, diverting away from his usual 4-3-3 and playing Daniel Candeias in behind the front two.

Fans were fuming at Candeias’ performance in the defeat, but Gerrard’s comments show he is learning from his mistakes.

“This defeat will improve me because I made a few mistakes within that game on Sunday as well. The pain doesn’t get easier, even though we’ve had a day off to try and get it out of the system,” Gerrard said.

The Gers have a chance to put things right immediately when they welcome Rapid Wien to Ibrox on Thursday evening, and fans are heaping praise on the boss for owning his mistakes.
