Rangers fans react as Morelos finally gets some positive press

Rangers fans can hardly believe their own eyes after an article in The Evening Times was released heaping praise on Alfredo Morelos.

Perhaps never before has a player been vilified quite so quickly and harshly by the Scottish media as Rangers’ Colombian front man Morelos.

The fiery youngster has a deserved reputation for losing his cool – he has picked up four red cards this season – but some of the coverage surrounding each and every incident he is involved with borders on ridiculous.

That said, Chris Jack of The Evening Times has released a stunning story on the Gers ace, tracking his rise from rags to riches.

Jack notes how Morelos was not always as highly rated as he is now, with his move to Finland from Colombia seen by many as a step in the wrong direction.

That step paved the way for his eventual move to Ibrox though, where he has smashed in 47 goals in 87 appearances for the Gers.
