Borna Barisic was hooked at half-time in Rangers’ 0-0 draw with Progres Niederkorn, and the fans aren’t too pleased with what they saw from the Croat.
It was a quiet evening in Luxembourg as Steven Gerrard’s men successfully defended their 2-0 lead from the first leg at Ibrox last week.
Goals from Joe Aribo and Sheyi Ojo in the home leg of the Europa League second-round qualifier ensured safe passage through to the next stage, despite a dull performance this time around.
Despite progressing through to the next round, the performance of the left-back irked the Rangers supporters. The 26-year-old was taken off by Gerrard at the break, and the gaffer revealed he felt he was at risk of being sent off after an early booking.
Yet, some fans were glad to see the defender replaced by Andy Halliday during the interval after a sub-par performance.
These supporters didn’t pull any punches on Twitter describing his display:

Barisic won’t do for me.

Forgettable. Barisic still a major concern.

It was poor, I’ve said give barisic a chance but he’s not cutting it, we are missing something attack wise

Barisic as a Rangers player has run its course I think

Barisic is a dud and we need a new left back before the end of the window
