Harry Forrester has officially left Rangers by mutual consent, and fans are all saying the same thing about the midfielder’s exit.

The English midfielder, who signed for the Gers under Mark Warburton on a three-year deal in 2016, made 44 appearances in all competitions.

Steven Gerrard has been extremely busy this summer, but most fans feel there is still plenty of work to be done.

The Gers ideally need a top class centre forward as they transform their squad, as Alfredo Morelos just isn’t up to scratch and hasn’t had a great start in the two Europa League ties.

Forrester, who scored seven league goals during his stay, spent last season on loan with AFC Wimbledon, but obviously did no do enough to convince Gerrard he was worth keeping around in this new look squad.

The 5ft 10in midfielder seems to be remembered for one thing and one thing only amongst the fans, his failure to square it to Joe Dodoo against Celtic.

Fans are certainly going to miss the 27 year-old though, and some even think it's a mistake letting him go... but he should of squared it to Dodoo! Either way, you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below...
