Glenn Middleton is set for a medical at Hibs with a view to a season-long loan move, according to The Daily Record, but Rangers fans aren't quite sure what to think.

Middleton had previously looked like he was heading to the Dutch second tier with NAC Breda, but could now be turning out at Easter Road next season.

The 19-year-old also saw a move to Doncaster Rovers fall through in this window, according to The Scottish Sun.

The winger started last season well, impressing in the Europa League, but struggled for game time in the second half of the season, playing only three times after the winter break.

And with The Daily Record reporting that he's on the brink of a temporary switch to Paul Heckingbottom's side, the Gers faithful can't make up their minds on the deal.

Some see it as a chance for one of their talented youngsters to earn some game time at a high level. Others aren't too happy to be loaning a player to a league rival in Hibs.
