Rangers fans are feeling optimistic about the latest update surrounding the future of Ryan Kent.

According to Sky Sports, Kent is being priced out of a move away from Anfield, with his asking price being reported at around £7m, but Gers fans are still hopeful a deal can be done.

This comes after Steven Gerrard admitted it looked unlikely that his club would be able to afford to bring the winger back to Ibrox, per The Express.

With Jurgen Klopp stating to The Liverpool Echo that he won't leave the club on loan though, it certainly looks like the Reds are hoping to cash in this summer, which could see the asking price drop as we get closer to the deadline.

The 22 year-old was a good acquisition for Gerrard last season, scoring six times and setting up a further nine in his 43 appearances while on loan at Ibrox.

His performances last season earned him the Young Player of the Year award, so it's no surprise the fans are desperate for him to come back to Glasgow.

Here's what the Light Blue supporters had to say on Twitter about the possibility of bringing Kent back to Ibrox...
