Rangers fans slam Andy Halliday for poor performance against Hibs

Rangers’ season ended in typically frustrating fashion on Sunday, drawing 5-5 away to Hibernian in a thrilling encounter at Easter Road.

With Aberdeen beating Celtic in Glasgow, the result wasn’t enough to finish in second place in the Scottish Premiership, highlighting again the scale of Steven Gerrard’s task next season.

Hibs threatened to annihilate the Light Blues in the first half an hour on Sunday, rushing to a 3-0 lead before Rangers rallied and ended up going 5-3 ahead.

However, two late goals, including a stoppage time equaliser meant that the Gers wouldn’t end the season with a big win over one of their rivals.

Fans were left fuming with the performance, especially defensively, and had harsh words stand-in left-back Andy Halliday, who failed to deal with the threat of Hibs all afternoon.

Many have now had enough of the player and want to see him gone this summer.
