Loads of Rangers fans have been giving their verdict on the win over Dundee, and they’re delighted with the return of Lassana Coulibaly.

Reports this week claimed Steven Gerrard wants to sign Coulibaly permanently at the end of this season, and his performance on Saturday showed exactly why that would be the right decision.

The all-action midfielder has missed the last few games with a leg injury, but returned in style on Saturday, slamming home the opening goal to kick off an empathic win.

Ryan Kent doubled the Gers’ lead after just 14 minutes, and goals from James Tavernier and Glenn Middleton rounded off the 4-0 win.

Gerrard’s side have had a difficult start in the league, and the effects of a fatiguing Europa League run were very clear in the defeat at Celtic.

That is perhaps why fans are so delighted to have Coulibaly back, as the youngster improves both the starting eleven and the depth in midfield.
