Rangers fans thrilled by Ovie Ejaria’s display in Europa League triumph

After a gruelling campaign that has seen Steven Gerrard’s side face challenges across the continent, Rangers have secured their spot in the group stages of the Europa League.

The Scottish giants did not make things easy for themselves though in a 2-1 aggregate victory over FC Ufa, drawing the second leg 1-1 on Thursday evening and finishing the game with nine men following the dismissals of Alfredo Morelos and Jon Flanagan.

One of the Rangers players who caught the eye was 20-year-old talent Ovie Ejaria, who shone in the triumph and earned plenty of plaudits from supporters on social media.

On loan from Liverpool, Ejaria has enjoyed a bright start to his spell in Glasgow after scoring one goal in his three league games and picking up further appearances in the club’s Europa League qualifying campaign – scoring the opening goal on Thursday and a strike that proved to be decisive.

Ejaria still has many stern tests lying ahead of him but fans were thrilled with his performance and praised his display on social media. We have gathered some of the best reactions below.
