Rangers bounced back from their heavy cup defeat last weekend with a 2-1 victory over Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday.

Needing a win to maintain their bid to finish second in the Scottish Premiership, second half goals from Jason Cummings and Daniel Candeias were enough to defeat Craig Levein's outfit despite a late goal from Christophe Berra.

After a week of drama and bad headlines, it was a huge victory for Graeme Murty's squad, who were clearly delighted to pick up all three points and move ahead of Aberdeen in the table.

Fans were of course pleased as well and offered particular praise to Cummings, who was starting his first match for over a month in place of Alfredo Morelos.

He's scored seven goals since moving on loan from Nottingham Forest in January and supporters are now calling on him to get a start next week against Celtic as the Light Blues attempt to avoid conceding the title against their eternal rivals.
