Loads of Rangers fans have been discussing their League Cup clash against Ayr, and they all want to see Glenn Middleton get the nod on the left wing.
Rangers have the chance to reach the semi-final of the League Cup when they welcome Ayr to Ibrox on Wednesday, and fans are desperate to see more of Middleton.
The young winger has surprised everyone this season, showing some sensational skill coming off the bench, using his directness and speed to terrorise tired legs late on in games.
While Ryan Kent has been mightily impressive on the left wing as well, fans want to see Middleton start the clash against Ayr.

The Gers’ Europa League success means the games will come thick and fast over the next couple of months, and Steven Gerrard will have to rotate his squad regularly to avoid injuries.
Having two young, tricky wingers to choose from for the same position is a wonderful selection headache to have, and these fans are hoping it’s the 18 year-old that gets the nod tonight, despite Kent’s red-hot form.

Expecting a start for Middleton tomorrow against Ayr Utd and congratulations to Cammy Palmer on being called up to the squad. I know SG rates young Palmer highly and expects great things of him, well done to the young man.

Fully expect players like
All to start on Wednesday if fit, and confident we can put 4/5 past Ayr ??

A few, I think Middleton will start and can see Ross getting another start but this is a must win game. I know it’s just Ayr, but they are brimming with confidence and will have a right go, nothing to lose for them.

My line up for the league cup game against Ayr.
All the players in our squad should be strong enough to get the job done against Ayr.
Time to get some minutes into the legs of Wallace, Dorrans, Grezda, Middleton, McCrorie and Worrall.
Bring Rossiter and Sadiq on second half. pic.twitter.com/FOYA4B3uMQ

As impressed as I’ve been with Middleton I’m happy enough to see him come off the bench for a bit yet. Possibly start against Ayr midweek
