Rangers could be sending midfield prospect Ross McCrorie out on loan next season, as reported by The Scottish Sun.
Manager Steven Gerrard is set to have conversations with the player about his role in the first-team squad at Ibrox next term, suggesting that he won’t be a regular go-to pick after strengthening of the squad during this summer’s transfer window.
Be sure to check out the incredible story of the man who rose from a Tanzanian refugee camp to become one of Australia’s biggest football stars in the video below…
Rangers have made seven signings so far, with the addition of Joe Aribo sure to ramp up competition in the middle of the park.
Now 21 years of age, he needs regular action on a week-to-week basis to develop and progress as a player.
For Rangers fans though he remains a player with exciting potential and some feel he’d be better served staying at Ibrox next season and getting the games under Gerrard.
These supporters have taken to Twitter this weekend to share their thoughts…
Can’t understand why the management team want to send Ross McCrorie out on loan, he offers so much more than Ryan Jack in the same position, totally under-utilised last season, having him as an option when we need more solidity in the team is huge for us
Strange one for me

No way should he be loaned out. Joke if he is.

He’s a future captain for me mate ?

Personally think he’s brilliant and we shouldn’t be letting him go.

McCrorie should be retained as fourth CB and DM if Davis is Injured. Jack is not as good in this position. People forget the stats when Ross came into the team before Davis added the class in this position but young Ross is the best back up option as a holding midfielder. Keep

I do rate him, future captain I think. needs game time so a year on loan not a bad thing but I would have him in about the team more than last season

Middleton and Mcrorie potentially going out on loan, doesn’t bode well for the youth system , pathway to the first team
