Striker Alfredo Morelos was missing during a Rangers training game today against Welsh champions TNS.
The Gers fielded different elevens in each half, with Jermain Defoe the central attacker from the start and Greg Stewart coming on after the interval.
Defoe scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win for Steven Gerrard’s side.

It’s the team’s second organised training game of the summer and is one of the last opportunities for the team to get minutes in their legs ahead of competitive action against St Joseph’s of Gibraltar in the Europa League next week.
Rangers will now take on Oxford United at Ibrox on Sunday.
There were no reports of an injury to Morelos after he played against Mansfield at the weekend, so whether he’s suffering from a knock or had a training ground problem remains unknown.
His absence has raised a bit of concern amongst supporters though, with many wondering why he would not have featured at all so close to the season kicking off.
