Loads of Rangers fans are saying the same thing about their need for a new goalscorer, begging the club to bring back Kyle Lafferty.

Steven Gerrard had a lot of work to do when he joined the Gers earlier this summer, and for the most part the club has done some very shrewd business.

However, the Europa League ties against Shkupi were far from perfect, and plenty of fans still feel he has one major move left to make.

Alfredo Morelos has not hit the ground running, and loads of fans are desperate for a new front man to lead their title charge.

Morelos scored 14 goals in 35 league appearances last season, which isn’t a bad hit rate, but the 22 year-old can be extremely wasteful, and simply isn’t good enough to keep pace with Celtic’s Moussa Dembele.

Lafferty actually scored less league goals than Morelos last season, grabbing 12 for Hearts, but loads of fans think he is the answer to their goalscoring woes.

The Northern Irishman left Ibrox in 2012 over a contract dispute, after grabbing 31 league goals in 104 appearances.

The 6ft 4in striker is strong, clinical, and most of all he knows what it means to represent the Gers.

Loads of fans are calling for his return, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
