Rangers supporters were left thrilled by the performance of Steven Gerrard's side on Sunday after they thrashed Motherwell 7-1 in Scottish Premiership action at Ibrox.

The win puts pressure on Hearts and Celtic above the Gers in the table after both teams dropped points prior to kick-off in Govan. Rangers are now just two points behind both teams and have a game in hand over the Jam Tarts.

One of the top performers on the day was Eros Grezda, who finally started to show his potential in a Rangers shirt with a second half double that delighted fans.

Grezda has had a fairly slow start to his career at Ibrox, taking time to build up fitness after a lengthy injury, but it looks like he's finally capable of nailing down a starting position in Gerrard's first-team.

Previously criticised for poor performances, fans will quickly warm to him if he produces more displays like Sunday's.

Fans took to Twitter to share their delight with his progress after the 7-1 victory...
