The Daily Mail recently reported that veteran Southampton captain Steven Davis could be set for a January return to Ibrox Stadium, having fallen out of favour at St Mary’s Stadium.
The midfielder represented Rangers until switching to the Saints in 2012. The 33-year-old has since made over 200 appearances for the south coast club. However, he doesn’t appear to be in new boss Ralph Hasenhuttl’s plans.
Former Wigan & Fulham man, Jimmy Bullard recently showed that he’s still got it! Check out the video below...
It looks as though the 105-cap Northern Ireland international will now have to seek pastures new if he wants to get back to playing regularly.
Davis would certainly be a smart target for Steven Gerrard to pursue in the upcoming January transfer window. The midfielder’s authority, leadership and experience could help the Teddy Bears maintain their challenge to Celtic’s title.
Plenty of Gers fans seem to agree that Davis would be a great addition. Of those who took part in our poll, 70% voted in favour of bringing Davis back to the club. See the full results below.
