Loads of Rangers fans have been discussing Josh Windass’ exit from the club, and nearly three quarters of fans polled think it was the right decision to sell last season’s second-top goalscorer.

Windass joined Championship side Wigan Athletic last week for a reported £2m fee, and fans think it was another genius move from Steven Gerrard.

While it does seem rather bizarre to sell a player who scored 13 league goals last season, fans are completely behind the decision to sell the 24 year-old.

After a difficult first season at Ibrox, the attacker exploded into life last season, grabbing 18 goals in all competitions. He has good quality on the ball and certainly knows where the back of the net is.

However, what Gerrard is cultivating at the club is much less reliant on individuals, and more about the system and the team as a whole.

Far too often Windass would go missing in big moments, and the majority of fans think it’s another wise business decision in what has been a very successful transfer window for the Gers.
