Rangers fans have been discussing making a move for Derby County sensation Harry Wilson, and a whopping 85 per cent of fans want Steven Gerrard to work his magic to bring the 21 year-old to Ibrox.
Wilson stunned Manchester United last week with a man of the match performance at Old Trafford, helping to lift Derby into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
The young Welsh international is at Pride Park on a season-long loan from Liverpool, but it’s hard to see him challenging for serious playing time when he returns to Anfield.
Despite his brilliant loan spells with Hull City and now Derby, the 22 year-old will have to perform better than Xherdan Shaqiri just to get a spot on Liverpool’s bench, and Gerrard could take advantage.
The Rangers boss has already captured two Liverpool youngsters on loan in Ovie Ejaria and Ryan Kent, and the prospect of playing European football under perhaps the greatest Liverpool player of all time will certainly appeal to Wilson.
The versatile Welshman can play anywhere across the front three or in behind the striker, and 85 per cent of fans are backing a 2019 swoop.
