Many Rangers fans have been discussing possible striker targets to replace Alfredo Morelos, and a whopping 86 per cent of fans think Sunderland’s Josh Maja could be the perfect signing.

While Morelos is in red-hot form for the Gers, it seems very likely that the Colombian will eventually leave the club.

The 22 year-old has previously expressed his desire to play in the Premier League, and combined with his discipline problems the Gers will likely cash in while rates are high.

If Morelos were to depart for the Premier League then Steven Gerrard would of course have to find a replacement, and with Kyle Lafferty already in his thirties one would expect it to be a young player.

Maja meanwhile has been in excellent form this season for Sunderland, attracting interest from multiple Premier League clubs with nine goals in 12 League One games.

The 19-year-old can play on the wing but he is undoubtedly best as a central striker, and the overwhelming majority of fans have voted for a move.
