Rangers supporters appear split on the need for Liverpool prospect Harry Wilson next season, having been linked with a move for him on loan during this transfer window.

The Scottish Sun reported last month that Wilson was one of Steven Gerrard's big transfer targets at the start of his reign as manager of the Ibrox side, but there have been little developments on the signing.

Last weekend, The Sun also reported that Norwich City were now in the market to sign him after the departure of James Maddison, potentially making it tricker for Rangers to get a deal over the line.

Wilson enjoyed a successful spell on loan at Hull City in the second half of last season, scoring 7 goals and assisting 4 more in 13 appearances.

Rangers fans appear to be fairly relaxed about the situation, with just under half of respondents to a poll we published earlier this week believing that the club do not need to sign him.
