From a field of ten of the bookmakers' front runners for the job, Rangers fans have chosen Steve Clarke as a the ideal candidate to replace Graeme Murty at the end of the season.

Murty's interim contract as boss at Ibrox expires this summer and it looks increasingly unlikely he will be in the dug out come the start of next season after another damaging defeat to Celtic and squad disharmony dominating the headlines all week.

According to Oddschecker, Preston North End Alex Neil is the 3/1 favourite to replace the former U20s coach, but he is fourth in our poll for Rangers fans after we gave them the opportunity to pick their top choice and rank the candidates.

Bottom of the list is Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes, which is no surprise given he rejected the opportunity to leave the Dons for Ibrox earlier in the season.

The stand out for supporters is undoubtedly Kilmarnock boss Steve Clarke, who has done a phenomenal job at Rugby Park this season, taking the club from being relegation candidates into a top six outfit that can go toe-to-toe with anyone in the division.
