Jordan Campbell has been discussing Ryan Kent following Rangers' 1-0 victory over Livingston, during a Q&A on The Athletic.

What did he say?

Rangers may have got back to winning ways, against fifth-placed Livingston, but their performance was far from convincing and has been the cause of some questions being asked.

Kent is one of those players who have come under scrutiny, as he proved to be ineffective in a game that took his run without a goal or assist to five in the league.

He had one effort that went wide and another that was saved, but they were far from enough to impress.

Campbell discussed Kent's fortunes, or the lack of them, after the slim victory: "Kent is a strange one. Trying to do everything himself just now but today he could barely get involved. Would still like to see him start out wider but they’re clearly trying to solve it as starting him on the right shows."

Underwhelming

It is not just Campbell who has been left concerned by Kent's level of performance on Sunday, as signified by the fact that Steven Gerrard opted to bring him off for Flo Kamberi in the 55th minute of the match - when the score was still 0-0.

This was also shown by the supporters, who criticised him in a far less merciful manner for the 23-year-old, as they were damning in their judgements of him.

Rangers' next game comes against Braga in the Europa League, a competition in which he has two assists from his last two games, so there may be hope that he can recapture that type of form, rather than what he showed against Livingston.

Meanwhile, Rangers fans reacted to their loanee's performance.
