Racism is an issue that has come under the media spotlight intensely in the past twelve months, and it appears Rangers are making big strides forward to help combat the issue of racism in football and promote inclusiveness on a broader level.

Just the other day, the club officially launched the new "Everyone Anyone" campaign, which aims to unite people from all sorts of "backgrounds, cultures and communities".

With that in mind, Steven Gerrard, James Tavernier and Andy Halliday joined club legends, politicians and board members at Ibrox for the occasion.

Gerrard, the senior team's head coach, also posted a snap on

And it didn't take long until other stars noticed the good work being done and many were quick to respond to Gerrard's snap with great messages of support.

Javier Mascherano, the ex-Barcelona and Liverpool player, posted a series of emojis as his way of commending the club and their manager.

But he wasn't the only one as others also raced to do the same.
