Rangers have had one of the busiest January transfer windows of any club this month and in Scotland they've dominated the headlines with deals for a number of stars that are expected to compete for first team places at Ibrox.

Supporters have been overjoyed with signings like Jason Cummings, Russell Martin and Jamie Murphy, also pleased to see players like Carlos Pena leave the club.

However, there's still time left to make an acquisition or two and move on more established stars, with the last day of the transfer window always liable to throw a curve ball or two, whether fans like it or not.

Who could be arriving and who could be leaving?

Here are THREE deals which have the potential to cause deadline day drama at the Light Blues...

Out: Alfredo Morelos

Alfredo Morelos has had an accomplished first six months or so at Ibrox since joining from Finnish side HJK Helsinki.

The Colombian youth international has scored a decent 13 goals in 27 matches with many supporters praising him for his pace, strength and desire to get shots off at goal.

He's certainly a player that the majority would like to keep in Glasgow but it appears that he could be set for a dramatic exit to China after reports emerged this week he was the subject of a £6.5m bid from Super League side GZ Evergrande FC.

That's an awful lot of money for a player then signed for just a sixth of that fee just last summer and in the end it could prove too tempting for the Light Blues, who aren't exactly flush with cash.

Manager Graeme Murty confirmed talks are ongoing but has insisted he won't be leaving until his valuation is met. It's set to be a saga that rolls into deadline day.

In: Jordan Jones

Left midfielder Jordan Jones is a player that has been consistently linked with Rangers this January, with Kilmarnock reported to have even knocked back an official £350,000 bid for the player two weeks ago.

The Northern Ireland international is having a fantastic season at Kilmarnock, building on what was an impressive debut campaign at Rugby Park.

He's scored six goals and assisted eleven times in 18 months and under Steve Clarke is pushing his game onto new heights, highlighting that further improvement could occur if he makes the switch to Ibrox.

Rangers added Jamie Murphy to their squad this January but lack options on the left flank beyond the former Motherwell man and returning for Jones could prove to be a shrewd bit of business on deadline day, especially with English Championship sides also thought to be interested.

Out: Josh Windass

The arrival of Jordan Jones would be doubly on supporters' minds if Rangers lose one of their other attacking midfield talents in the final hours of January.

Josh Windass has been linked with an exit from Ibrox this month after an impressive start to the season, with the club rejecting an offer from Preston North End just before the window opened.

Since then clubs like Leeds have been reported to be interested in his services with The Daily Record saying that the English Championship outfit were willing to stick in a bid beyond what Preston were prepared to offer.

That was just a couple of weeks ago and given how crazy the revolving door can get in the English lower leagues, anything could happen on deadline day if there are ins and outs in the Championship.

Windass has directly contributed to 12 goals at Rangers this term but a will the club receive a significant enough bid that sees him return south of the border?
