Juventus and Inter Milan will battle it out for Arsenal ace Lukas Podolski when the transfer window reopens in January, Daily Mail reports.
The Italian pair are both keen on signing a striker, and have put Podolski on top of their winter transfer wishlist.
The German World Cup winner has been pushed down the Gunners pecking order this season following the summer arrivals of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck, which has forced Podolski to consider a move away from the Emirates.
Serie A champions Juventus have already confirmed they are interested in signing the former Bayern Munich star, with CEO Guiseppe Marotta stating: “If there is a possibility in January to move on the transfer market [for Podolski] we will do that.”
The San Siro is another destination the 29-year-old could consider, as Inter Milan are also closely monitoring his situation.
After winning the World Cup with the Germany national team, Podolski missed the first four matches with an extended holiday but was still rarely used by manager Arsene Wenger upon his return – only playing one full match which was a 2-1 Capital One cup defeat to Southampton.
