Recent Brazil international, Lucas Lima, is the latest target for Italian giants Napoli, according to Gazzetta World.
Lima recently netted for his country for the first time, and it is believed that he is the primary January target for Napoli, who have already seen a €13million bid rejected by FC Porto.
Santos are demanding at least €20m for the midfielder to leave the club, but Napoli have already had early discussions with key Santos officials about a move for the star.
Lima can play on either side of the pitch and is comfortable in a more central attacking position and it is likely that this versatility is what makes him so appealing to the Italians.
Napoli are not putting all their eggs in one basket, and are keeping their eyes on other targets as the January window approaches, with several young players in Serie A likely to attract their interest this winter.
