Sheffield United are facing a serious battle to keep hold of Daniel Jebbison this summer, with Champions League clubs now circling ahead of the transfer window.

According to 90min, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have joined the race to sign the exciting 17-year-old, whilst a number of Premier League clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Everton are also said to be interested.

The England U18 international made his first appearance for the Blades as a substitute against Crystal Palace recently and was rewarded with his first start for the club against Everton on Sunday night.

It was a dream full debut for the teenager, as he gave the Blades the lead with just seven minutes on the clock, showing great instincts to turn Jack Robinson's cross past Jordan Pickford.

That would prove to be the only goal of the game and Blades fans will be hoping to see him feature again in their final two Premier League fixtures, before their return to the Championship next season.

Jebbison, who also has six goals in six FA Youth Cup games this season, taking his tally for the season to seven, spent the first half of the season on loan with non-league Chorley and showed exactly why Blades fans should be excited about his future in the win at Goodison Park.

Therefore, the Bramall Lane faithful will certainly be disappointed if the 17-year-old was to depart this summer to join a huge club such as Bayern Munich, where he would be unlikely to get first-team opportunities for at least a couple of years.

They will undoubtedly be hoping to tie Jebbison down to a new long-term contract and keep him around the squad, so that he can start fulfilling his obvious potential at Bramall Lane ahead of a potentially money-spinning move in the future, instead of a move away this summer which would be unlikely to bring in a huge fee.

Unfortunately, the young striker may well have his head turned by one of the big clubs this summer, and it will may prove difficult to keep him with the Yorkshire side ahead of next season but United should be doing all they can to convince him that his immediate future should be with the Blades.
