Sheffield Wednesday travel to Home Park on Tuesday night to face League One leaders Plymouth Argyle away from home.

The Owls moved up to third in the league after a hard-fought 1-0 win against Port Vale at the weekend, with Will Vaulks' wonder goal enough for the three points.

Plymouth also secured a 1-0 win away at Wycombe to maintain their spot at the top of the table, so Darren Moore's side will do well to end the Pilgrims' unbeaten home run on Tuesday evening.

Three points would push the Owls ahead of Plymouth and potentially top of the table, depending on how Ipswich Town do at home to Cambridge United.

Here's how Football FanCast expects Sheffield Wednesday to line up against Plymouth, with three changes to the side that won at Vale Park on Saturday.

After another clean sheet against Vale to take his tally to six for the season, David Stockdale keeps his place in between the sticks.

After a dominant display at the weekend, Ben Heneghan and Reece James remain in the back three, with Mark McGuinness returning from injury to start alongside him after he impressed in his four appearances this season, averaging a strong 7.09 rating from WhoScored.

There's another injury returnee in the centre of the park, as George Byers returns alongside Barry Bannan, after scoring three goals in the opening nine league fixtures, with Vaulks rested despite his screamer on Saturday.

Marvin Johnson and Liam Palmer keep their places on the wings, with Josh Windass continuing in his attacking midfield role after a strong start to the season which has seen him contribute three goals - the joint highest in the squad - and four assists in the league.

Finally, Lee Gregory also returns from injury to start ahead of the "wonderful" Malik Wilks - as dubbed Moore. The manager has clearly shown a preference for the veteran striker so far this season with the 34-year-old starting seven times, and he may continue to do so now that he is back in contention to play.
