Sheffield Wednesday have been handed a triple injury boost ahead of their League One fixture on Tuesday night.

What's the latest?

According to a report by Yorkshire Live, Darren Moore is set to welcome back the trio of Callum Paterson, Sylla Sow and Theo Corbeanu to his first team squad ahead of the Owls' clash with Fleetwood Town tonight.

The report added that new signings George Byers and Lee Gregory are also pushing for their first starts for the club, having both featured from the bench against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

Moore will be buzzing

With Moore undoubtedly hoping that Wednesday can continue their fine league form with a win against a Fleetwood side who have lost both of their opening fixtures of the season, the returns of Paterson, Sow and Corbeanu are sure to have the 47-year-old buzzing.

Indeed, while the new signings of Sow and Corbeanu are yet to make an appearance for the Owls due to fitness concerns, the availability of both players will provide Moore with much greater depth in attack. That will be invaluable for Wednesday over the course of a long and arduous League One campaign, with a fixture against a struggling Fleetwood side being an ideal opportunity for Moore to blood the duo into his Owls side.

Meanwhile, the return of the club's second-highest league goalscorer last season in the shape of Patterson, who was stretchered off in Wednesday's opening fixture of their League One campaign after taking a blow to his head, will be a big boost for Moore, as the Scotland international will undoubtedly be an influential player in the Owls' push for promotion this season.

As such, following a positive result against Doncaster last week, in addition to the availability of three more players ahead of the Fleetwood clash, things appear to be looking up at Hillsborough.
