Rangers would be landing a big signing in Todd Cantwell if the Norwich City midfielder makes the move to Ibrox, according to journalist Pete O'Rourke.

The 24-year-old has been informed he can leave Carrow Road this month and it is believed a number of clubs are showing an interest in signing him.
One of the clubs said to be interested is Michael Beale's Rangers and there has even been suggestions that he is favouring the possibility of moving to Glasgow.
The midfielder has not been a regular in the Norwich side this season and despite this, O'Rourke believes he could be a big addition to Michael Beale's side.
Speaking to Football FanCast, the journalist has discussed the 24-year-old's potential move north of the border to join up with the former Championship manager:
He said: "If Rangers can get that player back playing the way he was, he would be a real astute piece of business by the club, because he's in the final six months of his contract as well, so it's not going to be a huge fee to sign him from Norwich, either.
"So if they can get the best Todd Cantwell playing for them, I'm sure it would be a big, big signing for Rangers."
Big addition
There have been reports suggesting the Dutch side PSV Eindhoven had shown interest in the midfielder this month but he has his eyes on a move to Ibrox.
PSV are a side that often features in the Champions League which would prove a big victory for Rangers if they were able to beat the likes of the Dutch side to Cantwell.
Cantwell has only started half of his appearances in the Championship this season for the Canaries but Beale will be all too familiar with what the midfielder can produce (via Transfermarkt).
The 24-year-old enjoyed a fine run in the Premier League just a few seasons ago with six goals and two assists under his belt over the 2019/20 campaign.
However, he has been unable to rediscover that sort of form this season which has opened the door to a possible exit.
Gary Cockaday, Cantwell's former youth coach hailed the midfielder's natural ability in a previous interview with The Athletic:
"He did things every week that were just special. It was God-given. No one taught it. I always believed if you had someone like that, don’t change them or make them conform.”
But it is apparent Cantwell is in need of a change of scenery with his time at Carrow Road becoming stale and seeing his progression stagnate.
It would certainly be an achievement to see Rangers beat the likes of PSV to the signing of Cantwell, however, there is certainly no certainty that he will be able to rediscover his best form under Beale.
