Rangers got back to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership last night as they eventually ran out the victors against St. Johnstone at Ibrox.
It’s been a tough few weeks for Gers fans of late with the turmoil after Mark Warburton’s messy departure clearly impacting on results.
Graeme Murty has been the man charged with getting things ship shape before a full-time replacement is appointed, too, and so he’ll be pleased that things at last look to be getting back on track.
As has been the way of late, the Gers made it hard for themselves against St. Johnstone as they threw away a two goal lead and were reduced to ten men before Emerson Hyndman’s late goal sealed all three points.
The sense of relief was palpable come full-time around Ibrox, too, as the club look to reel in Aberdeen in second and Gers fans on Twitter were largely quick to praise their side for getting the job done – as stressful as it was.

@RangersFC a deserved win despite trying to throw it away, red card was stupid beyond belief. Few good performances and happy for Murty
