Vincent Janssen has struggled to impress since arriving at White Hart Lane for £18m in the summer and is still awaiting his first goal from open play- and he didn’t even earn a start in the FA Cup against League Two Wycombe Wanderers.
The striker did come off the bench today though and helped his side avoid being on the receiving end of a giant killing, as they fought back from 2-0 down at half-time and 3-2 down late on to win 4-3 and seal their spot in Monday’s fifth round draw.
It continued a decent run for Jassen in the fact he’s remained deadly from the penalty spot this season, although it’s worrying that this is the only way that the Dutch striker can make any sort of impression in North London.
Vincent Janssen has now scored 4 goals for Spurs.

Ever reliable from the spot, the only downside is that Janssen has to actually be on the field to take the penalty- and it doesn’t really offer much going forward.
