Manchester United were always going to head into the EFL Cup final against Southampton as favourites, but there is one big reason why they should feel confident.
The Red Devils booked their place in the Wembley showdown by overcoming Hull City 3-2 across two legs.
It was the 2-0 first-leg win at Old Trafford which put them through, as they succumbed to a 2-1 loss at the KCOM Stadium on Thursday night.
Not only did their 17-game unbeaten run come to an end, United’s performance was poor, with plenty of fans criticising the team on Twitter after the final whistle.
Southampton managed to oust Liverpool in the semi-finals, with Claude Puel getting his tactics right in both legs.
They will provide a tough test for United when the final rolls around on February 26, but the North-West outfit have a lucky charm – Mourinho.

As OptaJoe’s statistic shows above, the Portuguese coach has won every League Cup final that he has managed.
Two of those triumphs came during his first spell at Chelsea, while the third was during his second in the 2014-15 campaign.
