Manchester City picked up their fourth Premier League victory in a row on Sunday after travelling to Sunderland and soundly beating them 2-0 at the Stadium of Light.
Goals either side of half-time from Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane gave them victory and ensured there is now clear daylight between them and Arsenal in fifth position, with the Gunners now five points behind.
After poor results in the league against Everton and Spurs, Pep Guardiola’s side have responded by going on a bit of a run, not only stringing together victories in the Premier League but also progressing in the FA Cup and taking a first leg lead in their Last 16 tie in the UEFA Champions League.
One of the defining problems for Guardiola this season has been his inability to settle on a goalkeeper to provide the platform in defence City need. However, as this stat from Squawka shows that problem may be finally solved with Willy Caballero stepping up to provide consistency in his performances.

Those three clean sheets have all come in the last four games in the Premier League and Caballero now looks undroppable, in the short-term at least until Guardiola can re-assess the position in the summer.
