Pep Guardiola hasn’t really had things go his own way at Manchester City during his first season in the Premier League and the Catalan boss has come under intense scrutiny for one particular decision made during his tenure.
Electing to oust fan-favourite Joe Hart at the start of the season, sending him on-loan to Torino, Guardiola moved to bring Claudio Bravo in from Barcelona but the Chilean has failed to impress in English football.
Against Swansea City today, Willy Caballero was the man between the sticks and, although he didn’t have too much to do in the match and didn’t keep a clean sheet, the stopper has given Guardiola something to think about.
Man City have now won all 5 games in the Premier League this season with Willy Caballero in goal.

With Manchester City dramatically securing a late win against the Swans at the Etihad Stadium, Willy Caballero’s fantastic run between the sticks in the Premier League continued- with the keeper yet to taste defeat in the five matches he’s played in the league, winning all of those games.
Stats can’t really be ignored in modern football and this is sure to spark a debate if Claudio Bravo’s struggles continue.
