Stat shows how much Mourinho has improved United

Jose Mourinho admittedly didn’t get off to the best of starts at Manchester United but the Portuguese boss has certainly made an impression at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils enjoying a fine run of form across all competitions.

Having sealed their place in next month’s League Cup final in midweek, Manchester United carried their form into the FA Cup this weekend and earned their place in this evening’s FA Cup draw with a comfortable 4-0 win over Wigan.

Standing as the only English side remaining in four competitions, Mourinho certainly has reasons to boast- and this statistic shows he’s definitely above his predecessor.

Scoring four or more goals six times in just 36 games, Mourinho’s Manchester United have already surpassed the number of games that Louis Van Gaal’s side blitzed their opponents- and the Dutch boss took charge of a lot more matches.

It doesn’t quite match the consensus of Mourinho being boring, that’s for sure.
