Arsene Wenger has gone from hero to villain in North London, with a swift decline this season seeing many Arsenal fans cutting their belief in the long-serving manager and demanding that he leaves at the end of the season.
Bizarrely, Wenger holds the trump card on his future and could still elect to say- which is a major concern for Arsenal supporters, many of whom believe he should have called time on his spell with the Gunners in 2014 following their FA Cup success.
Wenger did, of course, retain the FA Cup the following year but his side have consistently failed to compete for the Premier League crown and have become serial Round of 16 victims in the Champions League.
In fact, one particular stat shows clearly that things since 2014 have been the worst ever under Wenger and makes it obvious he has to be gone come the start of next season.
5 – Arsenal have lost five games by a 4+ goal margin since the start of 2014, one more than in the previous 11 years. Groundhog.

Arsenal’s 5-1 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich last night was the fifth time the Gunners have lost by a 4+ margin since the start of 2014, which is greater than the amount of games they lost by the same margin in the 11 years previously.
Looking at this stat, it’s pretty obvious Arsenal are on a decline and things desperately need to change.
