N’Golo Kante looks set to make history by becoming the first player to win back-to-back Premier League titles with two different sides, with the Frenchman being a key-part of Chelsea’s dominating campaign after playing an important role in Leicester’s shock success last term.
Last night at the London Football Awards, Kante took home the honour for 2017 Player of the Year and it was certainly well deserved- with his stats for this particular season showing just how crucial he has been to Antonio Conte’s side.

In Chelsea’s dominating play, Kante has proved to be extremely effective by winning the most interceptions and making the most tackles in the final third this season- showing that he doesn’t give defenders a moment of peace.
Kante will look to continue his impressive performances this weekend against West Ham, before the Blues set their sights on a potential double ahead of next week’s FA Cup quarter-final clash with Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United at Old Trafford.
