If Arsenal are going to bounce back from their defeat at Chelsea and challenge for silverware in the latter part of the season then the man most likely to be at the heart of it is Alexis Sanchez.
With seventeen goals and eleven assists already this season, there’s been no stopping the Chilean superstar even when Arsenal have been below par.
While the re-emergence of Olivier Giroud over the last six weeks has seen him moved out onto the left flank, as this stat from Squawka shows, he’s most effective when played in a central position.
Alexis Sanchez has created more chances in central areas (44) than any other Premier League player this season.

No other player in the entire division has created more chances through the middle than Arsenal’s star man. It’s something Arsene Wenger should consider ahead of Hull’s visit to the Emirates on Saturday.
Giroud may be an effective option in terms of poaching himself, but the creative output Sanchez produces is clearly second to none.
Can Arsenal afford to have that shunted out wide when it can do so much damage in central areas?
