All eyes were on Alvaro Morata when he made his first appearance for Chelsea during Tuesday's pre-season friendly against Bayern Munich in Singapore.

The Spaniard is the Blues' most recent signing following his switch from Real Madrid, which according to The Guardian cost an initial £58m.

Morata has only had a handful of training sessions with manager Antonio Conte, so not much could be expected of him when he donned the Chelsea shirt for the first time.

The 24-year-old was introduced to the action in the 63rd minute as an attacking partner for Michy Batshuayi, who scored twice in the previous friendly against Arsenal.

Morata showed good movement and at times dropped to the left-hand side to provide pace and width in the attack.

The striker did not get on the scoresheet, but his flick led to Batshuayi's goal in the friendly, which ended in a 3-2 defeat to Bayern.

As expected, Chelsea fans gave their thoughts on Morata's first outing for the club.
