After scraping past Leicester City on the opening day of the season, many Arsenal fans were hoping for a more accomplished and impressive performance this weekend but were left desperately disappointed after Stoke City bested them 1-0 on Saturday.

Mark Hughes' side won't care about the offside decisions or penalty claims that the Gunners complained about, more than happy with Jese Rodriguez's excellent debut strike to send their visitors home to London soul searching once again.

For many Arsenal supporters it's the same old story as last season; plenty of possession, no cutting edge and defensive frailty. Only two games into the season, some are even losing patience with Arsene Wenger again already.

Next Sunday's trip to Anfield to face Liverpool is now an even bigger match and the pressure will be on the Gunners to put this defeat behind them and pick up some sort of result on their travels.

As the calls for Wenger to leave the club grow, fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on it all...
