Arsenal fans are not happy with the inclusion of midfielder for Manchester City clash

Arsenal welcomed influential midfielder Mesut Ozil back into the starting line-up for their crucial clash against Manchester City at the Emirates on Sunday, but Gunners fans were less than impressed with the inclusion of Francis Coquelin in midfield.

The Frenchman has come under fire from supporters in recent weeks for some questionable performances, and others were confused as to the whereabouts of the likes Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who were both confirmed to be absent because of injury.

Arsene Wenger’s men lie seven points behind Pep Guardiola’s side going into the match in north London, and they know they need to pick up a win in order to close the gap to the Champions League spots following a poor run of form.

Arsenal fans were quick to have their say on their team’s starting line-up via social media, with many disbelieving of the choice to include Coquelin in the middle of the park.
